Click "Join" and fill out the short form — your positions, skill level, and whether you want to be found as a sub or free agent. You're in right away: logged in immediately, no approval wait and no password. (To log back in later, just request a magic link on the login page.)

Kickup11 is free to join and free to use. Individual organizers or captains may set a cost per player for field or league fees — that's arranged directly between players (Venmo, PayPal, Zelle). Kickup11 never handles money.

No. Kickup11 uses passwordless magic links. When you want to log in, enter your email and we'll send you a secure link — click it and you're in.

Nope — you're in the moment you sign up. Browse games, RSVP, claim sub spots, build a roster, and host your own games right away.

Open "Invite Friends" in the menu to get your personal invite link, then share it by text, WhatsApp, or in your group chat. Anyone who taps it lands straight in. You can also create a Crew so your whole regular group joins at once.

Once logged in, tap "+ Host a Game" on the schedule page. Set your date, field, time, format, and max players. The game is live immediately and players can start RSVPing.

When you create or edit a game, check "🔁 Repeats weekly." Kickup11 automatically posts next week's game ahead of time and invites your regulars, so you never have to re-roll the "who's in?" message. Uncheck it on any week to stop the series.

When the roster hits your max, the game switches to Full and a waitlist activates. If someone drops, the first person on the waitlist gets a 2-hour window to claim the spot.

Once your field and time are locked in, update the game status to Confirmed via the Edit Game panel. You'll also get email nudges if kickoff is approaching and the game is still Forming.

Yes. Set the game type to Private when creating or editing — only players you invite can see and RSVP to it.

When a confirmed player drops within 24 hours of kickoff, the game switches to "Sub Needed" and our tiered alerts fire. Players in the sub pool who match the position and skill level get a one-click claim link. First to click locks the spot.

On your profile, turn on "Available as a Sub / Free Agent." You'll get alerts for games and teams near you that match your positions, and hosts and captains can find you when they're short a player.

Tap "Need a Sub?" to create a Quick Sub Request — a shareable link for your outside game (your league, a private run). Set the date, location, position, and how many subs you need, then drop the link in a text thread, team chat, or Facebook group. People can claim instantly, or choose "Needs my approval" to review and pick exactly who plays. You see each person's positions, skill, and history before approving.

If no exact match (position + skill) claims within 2 hours, a broader alert goes out to all sub-active players in your area. If it's still open within 6 hours of kickoff, the host gets a nudge to reach out directly.

Go to Team Builder, enter your team or league name, how many spots you need, the gender and position you're looking for, and a line of details (level, cost, schedule). You get one shareable application link — drop it wherever your players are. Players apply, and you review and pick exactly who makes the roster.

A sub request fills a spot for one specific game on a specific date. Team Builder is for recruiting players for a team or a whole season — it's roster-framed (the date is optional), lets you specify gender and level, and you always review and choose applicants rather than first-come-first-served.

Open your team link's dashboard. Each applicant shows their positions, skill level, games played, any history with you, and a short pitch they wrote. Tap Accept to add them, or Decline. Declined or extra applicants can be saved to your Sub Bench for next time.

Yes. When you create a roster need you can set the position and an optional gender (Any, Women, or Men) — handy for coed leagues that run gender quotas. It helps players self-select; it never blocks anyone.

Your Sub Bench is a private list of players you've kept from past roster needs. When you post your next team or sub link, share it with your bench first — they're people you already know can play.

On your team dashboard, tap "Copy roster" to copy your confirmed players as a clean numbered list, then paste it into your league's registration form or wherever you need it.

On your profile, turn on "Available as a Sub / Free Agent" and write your Pitch — a one-liner like "Played D3, comfortable at mid or fwd, reliable for the full season." When you apply to a team or sub spot, captains see your pitch alongside your positions, skill, and game history. A strong, current pitch is what gets you picked.

It's a short note about you that captains and hosts see when you apply — your level, where you play best, and anything that helps them say yes. You set it once on your profile and it's reused every time you apply (you can tweak it per application).

Open the link the captain shared and tap Apply. Add or confirm your pitch, and you can check "keep me available as a sub" to be found for other local games too. The captain reviews applicants and lets you know.

A Crew is your regular group saved in one place. Create one, share a single join link, and your whole group lands on Kickup11 together — no one-by-one invites. You can then invite your crew to a game in one tap.

On your profile, use the "My Crew" card to create one and get its share link. From the crew page you can rename it, invite by email, see the roster, and (as captain) remove members.

Yes, up until the RSVP lock. Pickup games lock 24 hours before kickoff; league sub games lock 2 hours before. After the lock, contact the organizer directly.

If a game is full you can join the waitlist, queued in order of sign-up. When a spot opens more than 24 hours before kickoff, the first person gets an email with a 2-hour window to claim it; if they don't respond, it passes to the next person.

Yes. Once you're In on a game, tap "Bring a Guest" to add someone who isn't on Kickup11 — just their name (and optionally email). They count toward the roster so the host has an accurate headcount.

Kickup11 sends alerts by push notification and email for things you've opted into — sub spots, invites, game changes, and new games near you. Manage which alerts you get on your profile page.

Visit the Install page for step-by-step instructions. On iPhone, open Kickup11 in Safari and use Share → Add to Home Screen (then open the app once and tap Enable to turn on notifications). On Android it's usually a one-tap install prompt. Adding the app is what lets iPhones receive push notifications.

iPhones only allow push for apps added to the Home Screen. Add Kickup11 via Safari's Share → Add to Home Screen, open the installed app, and tap Enable when prompted. If you opened the link inside Facebook or Instagram, tap the "•••" menu and choose "Open in browser" first.

A Watch Party is a meetup to watch matches together — no teams or formats, just a time, a place, and RSVPs. Post one the same way you host a game (choose "Watch Party" as the type) and share it. Great for big match days.

Members can see your name, RSVP status, and a profile with your positions, skill level, home area, your pitch, and game stats (games played, win/loss, who you've played with). Your email and phone number are not shown in your profile. When you apply for a spot, that specific host or captain also sees the email you applied with so they can coordinate.

No. Kickup11 never processes, collects, or holds money. Any field fees or league dues are arranged directly between players, and any payment instructions you see were provided by another user — not by Kickup11.

Go to your profile page and use the delete-account option at the bottom. Removal is immediate. You can also email hello@kickup11.com and we'll remove your data within 30 days.
